Interview with Linda (part 3)

For the last couple of days, I have been working on the translation of Linda’s interview. In this part, we will learn more about Linda’s principles and philosophy in teaching self defense to young women. It is a very enlightening reading.

Linda, what do you think makes your course different than the others?

I think you are going to be surprised by the answer. My course is free of charge and is led by a woman, and this makes a whole lot of difference. There are many different courses out there, the dojo owners all brag about how great a job they do, they do not teach any bullshit like the others, they are realistic, simple, etc. However, keep in mind that these are commercial projects with money-making as their prime focus. Women’s actual needs are not on the top of the list of priorities. How a course can be called ‘reality based’ if you use a heavily padded model attacker with restricted movement hardly reacting to any hits.

Karate is a nice martial art but impractical
for female self defense
The course responsible are often practitioners of martial arts, they always think that just adapting the martial art they are familiar with is enough and can be taught to women.  Although few ‘experts’ would still argue that learning Judo or Karate is sufficient self defense training, this type of thinking unfortunately remains. My system is not based on any martial art, just the research I and my peers have done with a strong focus on simplicity and effectiveness.

In other systems, there is also too much emphasis on basic or first response techniques and very little, if anything, on last resort self defense. This is maybe appropriate when teaching men but is poor when teaching tactical strategies to young women. Female self defense is not a contest but rather a fight for survival in which one of the opponents is limited by a smaller size and weaker strength and this must be taken into account and balanced out. In my opinion, many courses provide just a false sense of security rather than true empowerment which is absolutely needed.

Can you tell us more about why teaching last resort self defense is important?

There is this flawed idea that the scope of a self defense course should not go beyond wrist lock releases, punches to the nose, or elbow to the stomach. It somehow implies telling: So, the wrist lock release did not work, now expect to be raped, we did not teach you what to do next. An attacker with his pants down and his genitals exposed is much more vulnerable and defeatable than the moment he just jumped out of bushes doped with adrenaline. A state-of-the-art course should cover all the situations and stages of a sex attack and should focus on techniques and strategies, even a petite girl can do before the worst happens.

Many trainers feel uncomfortable going into more sensitive and touchy subjects. For a male teacher, it might be awkward to talk about his own male parts and how vulnerable they are. For this reason, the best is when a female teaches other females, this way one can also avoid any unwanted sexual backdrops.

Lastly, I often read a very stupid argument that learning self defense is worthless because women are in majority attacked by someone they know. The self defense techniques I teach can be used in different situations and against anybody, including an abusive husband or boyfriend. All men have Adam’s apple and testicles.

Can you explain to the readers what are the main principles of your system?

Deception is an important element
of last resort self defense
My system is based on simple principles in both learning and execution. If in a sticky situation a woman should follow the ‘4D’ principle which comes in sequence: decision, deterrence, deception, and determination.  The ‘decision’ means to learn to make the right decision at a given moment. For instance, running away can be the best option in some instances. Freezing can be a problem, but I also teach how to overcome this through some mental training.

If immediate escape or alerting the crowd is not possible a woman might decide on deterrence at different levels. Depending on the seriousness of the situation she can use some psychological tools or less serious techniques such as ‘fire quenchers’. A deception should follow if everything failed so far, the aim is to make the attacker off guard and his targets exposed. Using trickery is key in manipulating the attacker to a position he becomes vulnerable and creating a window of opportunity for the execution of a debilitating counterstrike. Momentary cooperating, making him remove his pants, and gently touching his genitals can be a prelude to the most serious no-fail techniques. This should be done with a determination which is an important component when resorting to physical resistance; it has to be done with full force, violently, and without hesitation.

The aim is to subdue the attacker till he is no threat to you. The attack should be targeted at the three most sensitive targets: his eyes, Adam’s apple, and testicles, the best in a sequence BCD: ‘Blind him, choke him, desex him!’ Sometimes it is necessary to make him pass out. This can be done for instance by stomping sharply between the attacker’s splayed legs so there is no doubt he will stay down, and you can make your way out to safety. This is rarely taught in any other courses.

However, there has been a controversy about how you teach these techniques…

How would one expect women to learn something when they cannot try it out during training? Nobody ever learned a new language just by listening.  So why should we, for instance, teach a lifesaving technique such as GTP just by saying You know, BTW you can also grab his groin? And the only time a would-be victim would execute or at least try it is in the most stressful life-threatening situation. It is then too late to figure out how it is actually done properly. I understand that the readers have some concerns about our male assistants. Pain and occasional embarrassment are a small price they have to pay. There are higher stakes than that for women not provided with the ability to defend themselves.

Once you told us that the female self defense training should involve both psychological and physical aspects. What are the psychological aspects?

The road to mastering the art of self defense starts in the head. Women are naturally non-violent lenient creatures; they do not want to hurt anybody. The psychological component of my training is to change their mindset to find inner aggression and unleash it when needed. I aim to accomplish true female empowerment and to build self-confidence. That’s why I insist any woman should try out the techniques as close to reality as possible, including those that are normally taught just orally such as attacks on testicles. Not only does a woman memorize it well, but she can more easily repeat it when really needed. It leaves a deep imprint in her mind: I managed to take down a training assistant, I can do it again in real life and it works.

But still, I often have difficulties convincing some girls to go full force. I often hear Linda, but this might permanently maim the attacker! I don’t want to castrate him! I explain to them, that in this horrible situation they should not worry if they injure him, even if they castrate him. Their goal is to get away from the situation using whatever it takes, even if it means castration.  I tell them Think for a moment, you are not only saving yourself but potentially any other girl in the future. I wish the girls leave my course not just as course graduates but as true female warriors.

And what about the physical aspect of self defense?

Some exercises can be done
during other daily activities
The self defense training is not only about mastering the techniques and getting the appropriate knowledge and skills. It should not end after a lesson or after a course. I always tell my students that staying fit and physically active is not only healthy and for good looks but increases your chances of a successful encounter with a violent dangerous man. I suggest building a dummy out of pillows with attached testicles made from a sock with rubber balls and keep practicing daily at home things that you have learned in the course.

Doing punches, kicks, knees, gouging eyes, and grabbing testicles regularly increase movement memory and are a good workout improving physical capabilities. Too lazy or tired for a day? Use the time to keep your grip strong by squeezing stress balls or fake testicles while watching Netflix or reading the news. You can also involve your partner in these activities. But be careful with his eyes and testicles, thou.

I really liked the lectures and theory classes, how important are these?

We had a lot of fun during the classes
I am glad you liked it. Success stories, examples, and videos are another important part of my training; it makes self defense training less abstract and more relatable. Although I aim to rather keep a serious tone, it makes a lot of fun, girls love it. It is not uncommon that girls starting applauding when I read a story from a newspaper about a young girl who sent her attacker to a hospital with a ruptured testicle. A home video or an MMA match of some accidents involving men’s most sensitive parts is sometimes more convincing than 1000 words and helps with overcoming the psychological barriers I talked about before.

I have to say I learned a lot about male anatomy in the course. Can you explain why is it important?

Knowledge of the male anatomy is
 another important element of learning
self defense
Yes, girls are really surprised by how much emphasis I put on the knowledge of the anatomy of the male body and particularly its most vulnerable spots. Know your enemy from head to toe! is another essential principle of my system. Physically but also psychologically. It means not only weak points on his body but also in his mind!  Girls say they learned more on this topic than in their sex-ed and biology classes. They are university freshwomen, not that sexually experienced yet, so it really counts. Most are amazed at how fragile and also variable male genitals are, and they learn what is the significance for self defense. Again, this topic should not be taught only theoretically but practically as well. That is why Bob and Peter and other male assistants come in so handy…

According to you, anyway, which is hardly an objective opinion. It's always much easier to make this claim when 100% of the costs are incurred by one group (in this case, males) and the benefits are received by another group, in this case, females. Based on your comments on your blog, it's nearly impossible to think of a scenario where you would agree (however reluctantly) that the costs incurred by males would be too high for the benefits the females received.

    2. Did the legal waiver they had to sign prevent them from seeking professional medical treatment if THEY wished to? Also, was Linda required to inform the female dean IF either of the two training dummies DID receive professional medical treatment as a result of injuries sustained in the course?

      Just curious...

      Delete
    3. I do not know the details of the waiver but for sure they had the right to seek medical treatment, otherwise, it would be against the law. I do not know if she was required to inform the dean in case of such an accident. As I said numerous Linda sought to prevent such situations from happening. If the guys wanted to have a completely accident/risk-free education they should have studied humanities or law. Your over-concerns for them are touching but at the same time surprising as you apparently went through military training. Wendy

    4. It seems highly unlikely based upon your prior posts regarding the dean's views of Linda's course that she would have had even the slightest interest in the welfare of those two training dummies. If you disagree, reread your own damn posts.

Their participation in a female self-defense course that specifically and overwhelmingly involved them being struck repeatedly in their testicles - both with protection and without, presents a much higher level of risk to those organs than they would face for similar injuries in most other sports activities.

That you compare military training given its purpose and nature with university students studying physical education would be strange to anyone that didn't know how you think. To those that do, it's just another bizarre Wendy-ism..

      Delete
    5. why the welfare of a participant is more important to you than the actual training. How much care for your welfare did you experience during your military training? Military training has some purpose as has a female self defense class. You put priority on one over another.

  2. Wendy, should men kick an abusive wife in the vagina, or because of the obvious anatomical differences between men and women, would you recommend that they strike her hard/full-force in the throat instead? I know that as you stated on your profile, you 'fully support' men's rights, so that is why I am asking this.

    1. The anatomical difference indeed makes it indeed more difficult. I support self defense for anybody. You can create a self defense blog specifically for men. But I think you are too busy complaining and pasting copious offending posts on this blog and to do something actually helpful. Wendy

Wow, you can really feel the love and care Linda has for men here. After all, she went out of her way to offer a comment that women should be 'careful' when practicing self-defense techniques that involve striking their male partners eyes and testicles. That's just SO charitable of her...

    Good f-ing God...

  5. What is perhaps most surprising is that you have, at least to date, avoided describing effective techniques to actually blind (for real) a male attacker, either before the woman has ruptured his testicles or immediately afterwards when he is likely unconscious and no longer a threat. You know that blinding a male is close to your heart, so why the feigned reluctance to add those techniques to your arsenal of favorite methods to maim a man? I presume its due to your interest in maintaining a veneer (however thin) of humanity to your readers, although in truth anyone who is a regular visitor to this site can see there's not much of that left in you...

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hey Wendy,
Are you going to do an interview with Linda about the best techniques for penectomy? After we have done the 'blind-choke-desex' trio, would it not also be best if we just performed a penectomy on the guy as well? It doesn't seem like Linda has many scruples or boundaries from what I have read, so can I ask if you or her are going to discuss penectomy techniques well?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey, no penectomy is not a very practical self defense move. I already wrote about snapping and breaking the erect penis which can be used in some instances. Everybody has a right to choose techniques against a rapist based on their own beliefs and judgment. But please do not judge the 'boundaries' of others. Thanks

      Delete
    2. Did Linda give you a chance to practice snapping and breaking an erection during your course Wendy? If not, why not? That legal waiver was in place, and she could have kept that as a 'surprise' technique for the last class. That way, she would have had time to advertise in advance for two new training dummies for the next course.

Perhaps you should recommend that to her next time you to chat, as I'm sure it's something you would have really wanted to do in your course, correct?

      Delete
    3. This is a very serious technique leaving permanent damage and we trained it on the 'dildos' only. As much as you think Linda and I are sadists we did not want to leave Bob and Peter impotent. But if you want you can sign up as a training assistant in Linda's course for the purpose of practicing this technique :)

      Delete
    4. What if something happened and you had left on3 or both of them impotent? That signed waiver would have protected everyone- well, everyone except the two training dummies of course. They would I presume been allowed to seek professional medical treatment if that happened in your class (with Wendy’s approval, naturally), and then they would I presume also be excused from participating in any remaining classes. Linda would be inconvenienced by having to quickly find one or two more training dummies, but other than that, no impact on her or any of the female students. Your perfect world.

      Delete
    5. This is the purpose of a waiver don't you think Evan. Your scenario has never happened because we were careful, so no impotence or sterility, and Bob and Peter could serve the whole course, and we could finish it out.

      Delete
    6. So, you freely admit there were serious risks of permanent injuries to both Bob and Peter; this is stated in several posts. So, given the waivers in place, what WOULD happen if one of them WAS seriously and permanently injured, such as castration, which would the most likely serious outcome. I presume they would be given medical care, then have to accept the long term impact on their lives, and that’s it. Linda would recruit another guy to take the place of the one that was maimed, and life and the course just continues on, is that it?

      Delete
    7. Evan, yes we all do in our life risky things which can end up in serious injury or death. We have to sign waivers sometimes and accept the risk. So why are you all the time complaining here? They would be given proper medical care don't worry. They are insured like all students here. Wendy

      Delete
    8. Great to hear they would receive proper medical care after being castrated in your course. Your such a caring person (NOT). Do you think the female students would be prepared to cough up for an 'Our Sympathies' card for Bob or Peter, wishing them a happy life ahead? I can only imagine how fast the next 'Do you have the balls...' poster would go up, as misleading as it would be, hoping to lure the next victim-assistants into Linda's current or next course. Do you think the female dean would contribute towards the cost of the sympathy card, or would that be outside of the approved budget expenditures for the course?

      Delete
    9. I suppose one positive that one might see if such a tragedy occurred is that since the maimed former training assistant would no longer have testicles, they could take the time to learn some very useful techniques for dealing with women that inflict such grievous injuries such as that which maimed them initially. They could deliver justified and purposeful revenge on the female that maimed them with an intensity and purpose that would take your breath away (literally). Revenge should always be delivered ice cold, and in this case, that may well be what the interaction leaves behind as well…-:)

Only a selfish person like Linda (or you) would have the arrogance to make that claim. This is just classic, and beyond all the other attempts you have made to market Linda as someone who 'cares a lot' for men, this tells the real story. She thinks of them as disposable training objects (aka training dummies), in the truest sense. You two must love each other Wendy, you are so alike!

    1. It is your opinion. Linda and I never considered our training assistants as a piece of disposable dojo equipment. But if somebody signed up to play an attacker in a female self defense class what would he expect. Having a cup of coffee and casual chatting? I wrote already about ballet classes and pain. Yet I had no slightest feeling the ballet masters would not care about us.

    2. When are you going to tell us about how the last class went when the course you took was over? Did all the females get to choose their favorite technique and get to use it full-force on Bob and Peter without them wearing protection? Was the last class a way for you females to show female 'power' and finally send both Bob and Peter to the hospital in an ambulance? Remember Wendy, there's a signed waiver in place, so you are ALL protected against legal action... Why let a great opportunity like pass you all by? I bet Linda wanted to send those two guys off in 'style' (her kind of style, anyway)

    9. How do you know whether it did or did not help them to mitigate the effect?

  8. 'But if somebody signed up to play an attacker in a female self defense class what would he expect.'

He would expect to be struck in the testicles multiple times-some full force while he is wearing no cup, have to sign away his legal rights, be paid peanuts, be verbally abused and demeaned by both the female instructor and students, pressured not to seek professional medical care if he wished to, and be 'treated' on site by an unqualified female instructor that had an obvious interest in telling him his injuries did not require real medical care.

    Sound about right?

  9. We thought you would benefit from some clarification, as you seem to be confused about your use on some concepts. You 'care' about lying. You 'lie' about caring.

  10. Hi Wendy-- you wrote in an earlier post that during one class, Linda surprised one of the guys by pulling down his shorts and exposing his genitals. Were there any other times that the guys were unclothed during class, and if so did the girls ever practice on them in that context? (i.e., did the guys ever receive strikes to their naked testicles).
    Thank you!

    1. Hi, thanks for your question. Yes, indeed Bob and Peter played male attackers with all it takes. We had some very thorough anatomy lessons and practiced defenses against some realistic rape attempts when guys had their genitals exposed. This was to get familiar with their testicles and learned how to properly react when confronted with bare testicles which would always happen at later stages of a sex attack. Most testicle-targeting techniques we learned are very serious and could lead to some permanent injury and even castration so we had to be extremely careful. For instance, we learned how to quickly find and put the scrotum to a tight lock but we never performed the GTP in full. The whole sequence in full force, we practiced on fake silicone testicles. I think these exercises were not a piece of cake neither for guys nor for us girls. We all had to overcome some natural inhibition and squeamishness and initial embarrassment. If we would not want to be prepared for the worse we could just take other more 'decent' classes or not at all and pretend this will never happen to us. Which is flawed thinking of course. I will write more about my experiences in future posts. Have a nice day. Wendy

    2. It must have taken a lot of self-restraint by those two guys not to deliver some payback to you and any of the other female students during the last class for all your 'accidental' full-force strikes to their testicles during the course. A few good, hard strikes to the throats of those selected female students would certainly have gone a long way to make things right..

    3. 'For instance, we learned how to quickly find and put the scrotum to a tight lock but we never performed the GTP in full.'

Wow, that must have taken every particle of self-control you had not to use all the force you could apply during that activity Wendy? After all, with a legal waiver in place, and Linda's lenient view of the female student's training 'accidents' - inflicted at the expense of the two training dummies, you missed a golden opportunity to castrate your first male and not worry about seeing the inside of a jail cell for doing so.

Hard to believe someone with your values would let that chance pass you by....

'Extremely careful' you say? As 'careful' as you were by not checking with Bob to make sure he was wearing a cup before you kneed him full-force in his testicles?

  13. First i have to defend the honor of the martial art i did. Karate. On truth its kind like Linda's course, but the purpose its to kill the oponent, because if it fails he could come back and etc... Its actually more pesimist than your self defense course.
So first its to "decieve" get in close and break the (throat-neck) with an open hand strike. Its not that easy but karatekas practice a lot. If it fails, try kill it with a solar plexus strike. If that fails, then at least break the knee so he cant ever walk normally again, if that fails blew an eye so at least will have depth perception problems. Really bottom of the barrel are testicle strikes, castrating btw its sthe goal here. they hurt a lot sure but would hardly cause permanent damage that limit his combat capacity.
With all this being said, you can imagine Karate got even more "decaf" than woman self defense lessons.
Its temping for sure go for the politecally correct road of "the course its so excessive", but i will take the thornes way and say the course on its purpose its actually neccessary.
There are some thinks a woman can gain fron a kick directly to the exposed testicles of the assistant that dont happen on the pg cupped version. First on his physical pain, is useful for a woman see his pain and suffering, the reaction on his muscles, how he struggles to deal with the blow, how weakened is he after the kick ¿is it enough to guarantie a victory for the woman?
Then on psychological pain, how scared is he from taking the blow, the embarrassment, where is his unconfort zone and how the woman can play on it and using it on her favor. And his sense of defeat. the feeling you really beated a man.
The three its the cold heart of the woman, because on truth they deliver a finishing (the eye poke+ throat punch must been enough to just escape) kick or knee to the testicles of a man that was not a real threat. So they gain the cold heart to finish and attacker (why gave him a chance to recover) But also the cold heart to do it to any man outside. This is the tricky part because as you say you probably wont kick ever a man on his balls just at random. But you can. Even when you never do it, the fact that you can makes you more powerful.

    1. HI andré, karate is definitely a nice martial art and can be used for fighting for sure. It was developed for men's self defense. Some aspects, especially those related to female self defense are however not covered, you do not have GTP technique for instance in karate or anti-rape ground techniques. The philosophy of fighting is quite inspirational thought. Wendy

    2. Actually you have it. Look heian godan kata on youtube, They also have the ippon nukite designed to blow eyes or testicles. Look kata unsu. Karate sucks for fighting (look spar is ridiculous) and is decent for man but amazing for woman because you really need your oponent dont see it coming.

    4. Hi andré thank you. I am glad you support Linda's approach to self defense. You are right, karate indeed contains some testicle targeting techniques, but these are rather used for choreographed katas. It is more sport and art, which is nice of course. As you correctly wrote an approach for female self defense is different and often involves deception and distraction. Wendy

      Delete
    5. Not only support it, think its a noble cause one i would gladly try to help.

Think the 2 male guys discussion clearly pass its welcome to be absurdely overdone.
First, lets bring the discussion to the Susanne sequence. The guy exposes himself (against linda's advice) to test the sequence without cup.
Have any of the pissed off comenters being exposed to have their nuts stomped?
There isnt actually "huge amount of evidence" about the effectiveness of testicle stomps, because just like ball of foot kicks, even among guys that truly like it those kicks are dreaded. Just the possibility of it makes men sweat cold.
The guy exposing voluntarily to take the secuence means at the bare minimun
      1) He believes in the cause.
      2) He likes Susanne (despite she going berserk with her knees)

On some point is even insulting suggest they do it for the money, being attletic and attractive literally any part time job would make that purpose.
They believe that the cause of empowering woman its worth the pain of taking testicle shots, and the psychological shock of experiencing defeat and powerlessness at the hands (or knees) of a totally average girl. Evidence suggest that they maybe even appreciate woman power.

      The other think ..
I personally think its more scary Wendy is capable of kicking in the testicles a guy she likes and cares for than a total random. Even among guys who fight they need they emotions to carry them to battle. Linda's cold headed and cold hearted approch its an incredible advantage woman who take the course have even over experienced guys
That no pissed off guy here at least try to explore this angle its evidence of the redundance of the whole discussion.

  14. No, Wendy and the women that visis this blog would certainly randomly kick a man in the balls. They just create a purpose for it in their minds so then its justified. Don't assume these women have any moral standard, because they don't.

    1. Why do you think they do not have any moral standards? because they read a self defense blog? Come on. Kicking randomly guys in the testicles is not good, but it does not mean women should not be trained to do it when necessary.

    2. since you represent part (probably a small one) of this blog viewership think its worth to answer you
I have actually talked with woman that kick guys on the testicles for fun, although the fact they incarnate your worst nightmares its true there are two specific things you have wrong with them.
The more obvious, they do have a moral standard. Its usually the only thing that stops them from keep squeezing or kicking the guys balls (because the guy its always powerless on the floor to do any about it).
Second, They any but man haters, even for the ones that really want to be a man hater, beating and control man its so easy for them that they just want and have men on their lives, also they really dont scared of man at all. So no reason to be away from them.
I wont extend more its wendy's blog and im afraid im going too far off topic.

    5. If it is me and Linda we would not be so merciful, you would be looking for your lost balls on the floor whole day, so behave Serge.

    7. Treating it as a self defense video. It wastes the numbers advantage of the woman. I imagine ideally one should decieve or distract the attacker so the other one can strike or grab safely his testicles. Or if that its not possible one can obstruct or hold off the guy to create an angle so the other girl can deliver a decisive testicle attack, On general the result should be the guy is easily defeated and the woman unharmed. still curious how would you use the numbers advantage against a dangerous attacker wendy?

    8. Why are you lying to yourself? you like it.
You're just not sure. Because you did not try to control a man through testicles in the way you have in fantasies. I'm sure you've fantasizing, it can 't be hidden.

Your knowledge is limited, the testicles can get used to and endure while being beaten over time. Some men are willing to lose them for a queen like you.
You think about it every day, you enjoy it just it scares you to admit it to yourself. It will not make you a bad person because the pain is blessed. You have the talent to write an erotic book on the subject.
You can be a great queen ...

    9. Thanks for the compliments. I would rather keep this blog about real self defense. Hope you understand. But maybe I write an erotic book who knows:) Have a nice day, Wendy

    10. I've written erotica online in the past and might take it up again. If I do, I'll be sure to use this blog as inspiration for a ballbusting and CFNM story.

    11. Hi, sure go ahead, sometimes real life writes the best stories. Or at least gives a good inspiration. If you do please send me the link, I am looking forward. Have a nice day and Good Luck with your writing, Wendy

    12. If you like it too much, the whiners will just use that against you. I'm a man, so I'm allowed to like stories about men getting hit in the balls.

      Delete
    13. Well, it depends on the quality and the content of such stories. I don't care about whiners, I had to fight with many of them on this blog already. Like it or not, reading about bad guys being hit in the balls can be quite empowering :) I don't like too drastic and violent literature though. Wendy

  20. re reading this.
Lets discuss a surprise kick to the testicles. although its not failproof.
    a) Any woman can do it
    b) A woman who does would defeat any man.
its like it should be the first thing every self defense course it discusses
