An inspirational story
This inspirational story from Susan’s book clearly demonstrates
how combination of trickery and a properly executed incapacitating technique is
a key to success in defending yourself during a sex attack. It is one of the
best evidences that any woman can turn the tables on a filthy rapist when
necessary.
One the woman in my study used her head, in more ways than
one, during assault. She reported that she was abducted at gunpoint and taken to
a secluded area. The rapist threatened to kill her and brandished his weapon to
render his victim helpless. Like many rapists he was unable to get an erection.
He dragged her from the car, shoved her down on the desert floor and commanded
her to ‘blow’ him. This rapist, like most other attackers who carry weapons put
his gun down as he felt in control; his victim quietly ‘went along’ until she
could safely react. She complied with the rapist orders long enough to gain his
trust and divert his attention, then she took a bite. She bit his penis close
to the base, then grabbed a testicle and twisted and squeezed. She did not let
go until she was sure the attacker was incapable of retaliation. If she had stopped
before this point, she might have not been able to leave him clutching his
groin immobilized in the very spot where he might have left her dead. She took
the car keys and drove the car safely away.

I just found your blog and I love it! Such real, honest, good advice for how to keep safe :)
ReplyDeleteThis might be an odd question, but I heard some guys say that seeing another man get a particularly bad hit to the danglers can make their own boys ache quite badly. Do you know if this is true? and if it is, does it have any real application in self defense scenarios?
Thanks :)
Thank you, this is actually a very interesting question. We all have seen it many times in movies right? A man receives a good kick to his nads and all male observers immediately react by covering their genitalia in anguish. Our self defense instructor indeed mentioned this as one of the neglected effects of groin strikes. I do believe her as she used to spar a lot with guys during her career, so she got most of her knowledge first-hand. I remember her saying something like: ‘Sometimes it was so hilarious to disable all the guys standing around just by one well-executed strike’. Apparently, this transmitted effect is merely empathetic, it involves some kind of physiological pain as well. Although the pain intensity is much milder, it corroborates the power of the strike and the level of injury of the victim’s testicles. It all clearly makes sense from the evolutionary point. It gives a sound warning: you are in situation when your reproductive organs are in danger, so back off.
ReplyDeleteActually, this can be quite advantageous for self defense when a woman is confronted by multiple assailants for instance during a gang rape attempt.
In such a situation you should identify a leader of the gang and then focus your attacks on the leader’s testicles. Use the most savage techniques as possible. The effect of the transmitted pain and the visual shock should stun the other guys giving you a moment to execute the real strikes to finish them off. It even might make them to change their minds and to immediately abandon the attack and to flee with fear.
Hope it was informative. If you have your own thoughts about this interesting and useful effect, please share it in the comments. Also if you have any other questions, I am happy to answer.
Thanks
Wendy
Thanks for your answer :)
ReplyDeleteSo It's mostly true then. I suspected as much. I once watched the movie 'casino royale' with my at the time boyfriend. When it got up to the part where James Bond was hit in the testicles over and over again with the knotted rope my BF started coughing and squirming uncontrollably, he was coughing in the way guy's sometimes do after getting hit in the nuts. I tried to ask him about it but he didn't want to discuss anything to do with it.
I wonder why more self defense teachers don't instruct their student's about this? It seems so important. What other body part can you strike on one man to disable an entire room full of attackers? Is it because they're worried men will become uncomfortable if they have to hear about this? If so then that's stupid. Women' safety is more important then men's embarrassment of their own vulnerabilities!
The Casino Royal scene is indeed intense, I hope your boyfriend is OK ;) There is so much truth and fiction at the same time. Le Chiffre saying ‘It's the simplest thing.., to cause more pain than a man can possibly endure’ is the reality, the fiction is, Bond would keep his cool after such a treatment. Most likely he would pass out with some permanent effect on his reproductive organs. Sorry Bond girls! :)
DeleteYou are absolutely correct this is rarely properly taught, maybe to avoid some kind of embarrassment to the teacher and student as well. Men see this as an insult on their masculinity, that’s why you can hear mostly man arguing testicles is not a good target. Hence, it is much better when self defense classes are women only with a female teacher. It is much more important women are provided with the right self defense skills than any awkward feelings of men.
It is so ironic that when a man wants to rape a woman, he has to expose his very delicate and sensitive genitals that make him so vulnerable. It is so easy for an aware woman to easily disable a man by using the weakness of his sex organs, which he sought to weaponize against her, against him. She would be able to effortlessly attack his unprotected manhood and family jewels and give him intense pain when he expects pleasure. It really is great that males have such delicate little things in an awkward place (between the legs!), easily reached by a variety of strikes (which can be performed with our hands or legs), and an excellent target in a self-defense scenario.
ReplyDeleteThanks, you are absolutely correct. Actually, I read once a very wild speculation that testicles hanging outside, unprotected in such a well reachable spot is an evolutionary trait evolved for women to be able to thwart rape attempts. It is indeed so ironic, the more advanced a sex attack is, the more a guy put himself into a vulnerable position. He can’t complete it without exposing his Achilles heel giving a woman the opportunity to turn tables on him. All women should be aware of this, his muscles and strength is nothing in comparison to the power of attacking his weakest spot.
DeleteDefinitely. It doesn't matter how big or strong he is, if he is hit in the balls, he will go down
DeleteA woman I know once his me in the balls with a tennis ball in a sock. It was devastating! I certainly wasn't making any smart-arsed remarks after she did it.
ReplyDeleteA tennis ball in a sock means a small hard object and a high impact velocity. No wonder it was so effective :)
DeleteSounds like assault to me. That's generally a criminal offense in most countries I believe. One can only imagine if a man inflicted similar pain on a woman. Oh, the outcry that would follow...#femalehypocrisy...
ReplyDeleteYup, you're a sadist.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am, if this makes you feel better now.
DeleteYou’re someone who takes pleasure in causing and/or promoting inflicting sever pain on others. Most well-adjusted people wouldn’t take joy in that.
ReplyDeleteMost well-adjusted people would not misuse anonymity for posting abusing comments.
DeleteAbusive? Perhaps you should reread many of or own posts, both here and the numerous other forums you are on. What’s the next creative, malicious technique you’re planning? Perhaps teaching women how they can behead the man after they castrate him? Of course, to be consistent with your principle of maximizing pain, you’d want to tell them they would have to wait until the man regained consciousness from the castration. I find you to be a vile individual. I truly hope men wake up and start delivering the equal fervour the vicious defence against any and all women that touch them without their clear consent. As you say, it’s never the defenders fault. Men need to act!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, this is all bullshit. Those are all sick fantasies. If i have to rape a woman at gunpoint, i will do it from behind. If she even makes a threatening move against me, i will shoot.
ReplyDeleteShe will die, you say? I mean, yea, she will?
No, a low blow against a man, doesn't wins you the fight 100% of the times. But that time when i kneed a girl in her clitoris, ruptured it, broke her pubic bone and she was in the hospital, i guess this counts as 100% win?
Why i ask, ofc it does.
Hi ThatGuy, that is no bullshit but a reality. This is a real story and there are plenty more I can publish. Sure if you have a gun you can shoot. In this case, the attacker put his gun down as she convinced him she is no threat to him. A doggy style would not make you safe from some effective techniques. A woman can still grab your scrotum by reaching your hands between her legs, securing a grip, and pulling sharply. You might end up being a eunuch. Wendy
